David Stirling Memorial

Valxxx has taken a few great shots of the David Stirling Memorial and kind of challenged me to take one too.

I have passed this regularly but never been able to stop. Today we were driving to Bridge of Allan to look at carpets for the hall. The sun was just coming out and as we didn't need to watch the clock we decided to stop. The statue is quite impressive close up. I was trying to be creative as I have seen so many photos of this however my favourite shots were the ones with the rapeseed field in the distance.
