Home sweet home!

Well what a fun journey home my mum and I had yesterday!

Arrived at Luton airport at 10:30am to be told our flight had been cancelled to Edinburgh. Waited until 11:30am as they were trying to arrange coaches for us. The only other alternative was to transfer us to a flight for today but we didn't want to risk having the same problems.

The coach left Luton at 1pm and arrived at a service station in Cheshire at 4:40pm where we were told by the driver that the next coach would arrive shortly. Two and a half hours later we were still waiting on this coach with no idea when and if it was coming. Someone managed to get hold off easyjet who had organised the coaches and they had no idea we were there! We were waiting for a call back from them when a coach finally appeared.

So I finally got to Edinburgh airport just after midnight where my husband kindly picked us up and took us home.
