CannyScot's Day

Arbroath Harbour in April sunlight

After the last of our family left this morning we set off from Dundee in bright sunlight for Arbroath. However, as we approached the town, the east coast haar (mist/fog) had descended. At the Harbour it had lifted a little, enough for the sun to break through. Many a photograph of this harbour has been seen on Blip, but the reflections of the multi coloured houses caught my eye today.

It was lovely to relax in the sun, eating the famous Marco's chip supper together. We are getting too old to have the appetite for a supper each so we shared one. Way too many chips for one person anyway!

Sadly, the haar descended again and we made a hasty retreat back to sunny Dundee to prepare for the grandchildren, who delight us after school every Tuesday.
