Mellow

The wisteria at the corner of the village church has never been one of the rampant variety. It is unassuming and quietly comes into bloom every spring, enhancing the mellow flint and brick on this end of the church. It is under this part of the church wall that there are Saxon remnants. I wonder how long the wisteria has been there.
