Not nice weather for ducks!

As I wandered the local charity-shops looking for a jigsaw for us to complete over the Christmas break (a tradition for M and me), it started snowing again.
I immediately headed for the Water of Leith to check out my blip-haunts for snowtastic pictures. Couldn't quite get what I wanted for another weather-blip of the Cooperage, but I was rather touched by this grumpy looking tufted duck (Aythya fuligula) with severe snow-induced dandruff :)
Actually, they always look a bit cross with life...
