So hot you can fry an egg...

It was earlier, then the clouds came in and it cooled off quite a bit, relatively. I was going to actually fry an egg on the sidewalk for today's blip, except for the cooling off part. And the cloud cover makes everything look less hot as well. I don't think we're getting to 108 today.

So, junior varsity purple coneflowers were up to bat. A slight bit of Photoshop on these to desaturate some color and saturate others (I really like the curves tool in CS3). Tomorrow, we're off to the local lavendar farm for their lavendar festival. Should be a good time. Have been trying to go the past couple years but always seemed to find out about it the day after. Not this time.
