Little Egret on the Stour

I caught this image within 200 meters of my house - a little egret fishing on the Stour. Very elegant birds. This one seems to be quite at home in the ancient city of Canterbury. I watched it methodically walking to and fro across the stream of the river where it caught at least three fish in the ten minutes whilst I stalked it and took photos.
