Let sleeping dogs lie........

Had to pop through to York after my weekly Pilates class.

As I was returning to the car spotted this sand sculptor. I was intrigued by his tool of the trade being a plastic card. The bottle of water being used to dampen his sand rather than for refreshment.

This was in stark contrast to two young men who I passed on the way into the centre. They were sat heads down with hoods hiding their faces and each had a cardboard sign asking for money. This is the first time I have seen overt begging in the city.
