Lower Stapple Gate Field in Late April

It doesn't seem a very exciting picture, but it would seem that the attempt to photograph the same scene each month has rather failed dismally as it hasn't happened! Most of this has been due to the weather and taking other subjects, so the whole attempt has gone astray. At least some change though can be seen as the leaves are out.

I stopped for a very short time as I did not have time to go for a walk tonight as I had to take a parcel to be returned to the Post Office and this took some time. (why is it when there are 3 tills, two are in use and the other is occupied by someone doing something else when they should be serving customers and there's a queue?). Added to that there were major traffic problems going home that meant a detour which resulted in not much time. With the recent wet weather, I haven't been able to do much walking either and the area above is a good place to do a reasonable circular walk. It's also good to go to have a good think and to help lift the spirits when you are feeling low and worried as I have been unfortunately today.
