Christmas Day !

I didn't know quite what to think when I got up this morning. The living room rug had moved to in front of the Christmas tree and there were lots of parcels sitting on it. Mum and Dad said Santa was here last night and that he had left me these presents. Well, thank you Santa - I had lots of fun with my presents.

Once all the presents were opened, we went to Gran and Papa's house and guess what - Santa had been there too! He came down their chimney and left me a pram with a baby in it, some books, and best of all, a satsuma!

We went to the graveyard after Gran and Papa's, as December 25th is also Mum's Papa's anniversary. Then we came back to our nice cosy house and the adults had mulled wine, mince pies and Mum's Christmas tree cookies and I changed into my Christmas Angel dress. Later Auntie Katie, Uncle Scott and Uncle Patrick came round and we had Christmas dinner. Mum said I was a good girl because I ate my sprouts. Uncle Patrick and Uncle Scott wouldn't eat theirs, the big cissies !

Uncle Andrew came round after dinner and I got even more presents. Auntie Katie bought me a keyboard, Uncle Patrick (who had already given me clothes) bought me some Peppa Pig books and Uncle Andrew gave me a lovely dress and a toy cow. I told everyone that it said moo. I am a very lucky girl.

After all that excitement I was very tired, but I didn't want to go to sleep in case I missed anything else - you never know where more presents might come from.
