Meet Gwen

This is one of two plants I have by the kitchen window called Streptocarpus "Gwen" and they have masses of flowers on them at the moment. I always think they have an unfortunate name, which sounds more like a medical condition than a very pretty flower!

Weather appalling today and only ventured out because I had to have blood tests done by my GP. However it was a great excuse to catch up on several recorded TV shows that I've missed without feeling too guilty:-)

A hospital visit scheduled for tomorrow, followed by a long-awaited meeting with a good friend to catch up on all the chat. Looking forward to the second, if not the first!
