Pup-n-Papa Day

I am so grateful for my parents! They are Amazing!

Whenever I am in a bind, with anything really, but mostly for childcare or puppy care... they are there for me. Yesterday I called Dad and asked if he would be willing to take Mace for the morning - as I wouldn't be able to take him to work with me due to my increased workload. He accepted the challenge and we made plans to meet early at the school to make the exchange.

Of course, like a new Mom, I called my parents throughout the day to check in on my boy. Like always - they had it all under control... no worries. He hadn't napped, and was keeping Dad very busy, but all was well. My call at lunchtime confirmed that both Dad and Pup were napping - finally - and that they'd bring Mace home when they both woke.

It was comforting to know Mace was well taken care of, loved and enjoyed for the day. It's been a difficult transition to juggle work, sports and the pup... but for the most part, with help, we all will make it through just fine.
