Christmas "The Day" Day!

We've made it.

It's been fun linking back and posting up my daily post of "much to do about nothing" blips as I moved up to the "The Day", which comes out to be Christmas Day in my book.

Thank You to those that kept tabs on me while I posted until "The Day"

My blips for today are a combination of my Holiday Evening.
The first 2 blips are taken while at Dads/Stepmoms home.

W.A.W always decorates the house in a Wonderful Holiday Sprit:-)
When we were younger Daddy made a homemade star
to place on the outside of the chimney.
His was an original made well before the ones offered in the stores.

The inside of their home always smells of baking and cooking. Over the years things have changed and the Christmas Eve meetings at the home have gotten smaller.
We, (the Children and Grandchildren) all have our other Holiday traditions now
And as Dad and M grow older it is nice for them to spend a quiet evening together with only a few of us popping in and out.

It was only me in that later part of this Eve.
We made sweet potato pies, tidied up for Christmas Day Dinner and ate some pecan pie I brought over.

I didn't get back home until 3 this morning:-O

The second blip is the home/office of Dr. Hutchinson the family Doctor.
When W.A.W was a young teenager he was on his way to being an architech and spent time drawing scenes around the neighborhood and surrounding cities.

In October this year the Doctor turned Dads drawing (that he has had hanging in his office for over 50 years) into his business cards and stationary.

Father is very proud:-)
He may be where sister gets her talents for drawing from.

The 3rd blip is what I took this morning:-)

I got a cramp that jolted me out of bed and as I fought it off I walked into the living room and saw the makeshift tree.
It had to be blipped.

I'm going to get Mom up and open gifts. Make Christmas dinner for our home, spend some time with family that pop in today and head back to Dads tonight for more Christmas Dinner.

Whoa whoooooaa!
