Rain Stopped Play

The builders arrived this morning, but as it was raining and continued to do so, quite heavily at times, they took themselves off to do some indoor work elsewhere.

We had enquired previously if it would be possible, at some point to dig out some of the soil in the pond. We had planned to do it ourselves, but as you know the GOG has not been particularly well recently. As it was not practical for the man with the machinery to go elsewhere to work and as the equipment was in our garden doing nothing he decided to make a start on this work which was scheduled for later. Today’s picture shows him hard at work; I will blip it again as the work progresses and when it is finished.
