"PINK BEAUTY"

Went to a continuing education lecture "WHAT IFS" in history given by 2 college professors - "scholars on the road" programs. It was wonderful to see slides/ power point presentation/lecture. Thought topics were fascinating and provided the audience with many thoughts to ponder. Our heads were spinning . . .
*WHAT IF . . .
*The British had won the American Revolution?
*The confederacy had won the Civil War?
*President Lincoln and Kennedy had lived?
*What if the allies had et defeat on D-Day?

As for the pink beauty -- The rain had stopped! The sun was shining! As we were leaving the campus we passed a circle with blooming tulips. I jumped out and took a few shots. I chose this one since it appeared to be smiling up at me . . .
