"DON'T COME ANY CLOSER"

It was a beautiful - sunshine - 65 degree day. Thought I would walk around Heckscher Park Lake. I was surprised to see that a barrier had been put up on one side of the lake. Now I was curious so I went around the barrier to investigate. There was Mama Swan on her nest guarding her eggs. She was visually annoyed. I needed a Blip for today so I quickly took a number of shots and went back to the walkway. This one was the best. If you look closely beneath her you'll she the tip of the eggs. I'll return to see check on her progress . . . I'd love to see the babies and go back soon . . .
