Gift #3 - Showy Evening Primrose

On an early morning drive today to collect eggs from our "free-range egg farmer", I passed a large swathe of these pretty pink flowers by the side of the road. So, I pulled over to get a blip. Strangely, they are called "Evening Primrose" though they were in full bloom in the early morning! Maybe left over from the night before? Anyway they are Texas wild flowers and a real gift of beauty from God. However, I must warn people not to try to plant them in your flower bed at home as they are an extremely vigorous and aggressive plant and kill most other plants around them! I never would have guessed by looking at the delicate pink petals!
