The new nursery routine is taking some getting used to. She's not too sure about arriving to the already busy room. But it does mean that her favourite teacher is there already (she used to arrive before
Lesley). Three mornings a week, she's doing her funded hours only so it means she doesn't get lunch- when I arrive for her, there's two or three of them not eating and playing in a corner while the others eat lunch. Thankfully it doesn't seem to bother her- I wouldn't like it!

When we got back from nursery, our friends Tracy and baby Keira were waiting for us! We had a nice walk, lunch together and a bit of potter (including a replacement phone for mummy, yippee!!) Katie loved making Keira laugh, and Keira rather loved Katie. We had a cuppa at our house before it was time to take Katie swimming.

She tried really hard at swimming today. It was lengths of the big pool doing breast stroke. She got tired after the fourth length- but because they were practicing the legs and the boards are really awkward for her to hold under each arm. At the end they jumped in from quite deep and did 15m totally unassisted full breast stroke - Katie's beam as she got on with it was just wonderful! the teacher hovered at first for her and her friend, but realised how well they were doing and was gushing away after class.
