Good in spots

Said good bye to our 90 yr old neighbors. Six years ago when we first got to know them, we could still have lucid conversations with each of them. Since that time, Charlotte has deteriorated considerably. Still, when you ask her how she is, her favorite response is "good ... in spots". George still drives the mountain roads at speeds which I find a bit excessive and his reaction times are not always so good. They are fiercely independent and will want to stay in their mountain condo with their cat until the next life.
