May Day

Many thanks for all the nice things you said and the stars and hearts you gave me for yesterday's sunrise. It is always very much appreciated.

Today has been the May Day holiday and the locals have been out in force on the beach in front of our house. We are one row back from the sand and so don't see the masses until we turn the corner in the alley!

The day started damp and gloomy with a heavy sea mist, which didn't really clear until after lunch, and even then, the visibility was very poor.

I could get used to mid-week holidays. Pity they don't occur very often.

Still, it's Friday tomorrow, so that's a bonus!
