Invasion Of The Body Surfers

Well actually there were kite surfers, wind surfers and all sorts at Tarifa today.

We spent a lovely day out at the most southerly point in all Europe. Morocco was just a spit away and the sun shone hot and strong all day. It was beginning to feel like summer.

After strolling through the old town of Tarifa, we ventured along the coast a short way to this beach. From our vantage point high on the dunes, we had a picnic and watched all the activity in the water below us.

On a Wednesday too. It is Labour Day so Spain and Gibraltar down tools and enjoy a mid-week break.

Back to school tomorrow, but it will soon be the weekend.

And I'm going to buy a pair of shorts!
