Winners

Since 2003 we have played golf in The Costa Blanca League and the Vega Baja League, we have come second a few times, but this year we have won the cup.

It was a long tense day, our team had a 3 point lead over our nearest rivals, La Manga. We had to play the next to bottom team, which on paper looked a formality for us to win 4-0, we won 3-1, which gave us 12 points.

La Manga North were playing their rivals La Manga FGA, La Manga North had to win 4-0 for them to win the trophy out right, they won 3-1. So we still retained our 3 point lead and took the trophy.

We had to wait nearly 2 hours for all the team scores to be inputted into the computer and the result confirmed.

Out for a meal to celebrate Roy's 76th birthday, and our win.
