Day and Night

The moon, the day after Christmas.

Today I was driving to Circleville to go to this cute little store called "The Hippie Hut" and looked up to the beautiful blue sky to notice the moon just hanging out up there. I rolled down my window and took the shot, decided right then that tonight after the sun went down I would go outside set up my tripod and snap an image of that same moon up in the night sky. The photo from earlier this afternoon was taken spontaneously so it's not as clear as the night sky image that was taken on my tripod. Thought about just sharing the one from tonight, but the moon at night is a fairly common image so I figured I would share the two together, as I saw it today... hence my entry title "Day and Night."
