the Twitchlings
A bright sunny day but still a chill in the air early after overnight temperatures close to freezing last night. Good to see a few Swallows and I tried to capture them for today's photo but not one of the shots was clear ( lots of shadows on birds sitting with sun behind them). Still not seen any Swifts but we heard Cuckoo again.
The cool air made good conditions for telephoto landscapes. I really enjoy capturing these shots to show detail of distant geography.
This impressive group of trees really is called the Twitchlings.
More practical work today, helping my sister with outdoor painting which was quite satisfying for all involved. Dad and I did a circular walk of around 20 minutes which he was very satisfied with feeling it was a return to form to manage a walk he has not done for many months.
