Emergency cash...

A Spanish bank machine swallowed my bank card yesterday. Was very glad that I was at an all-inclusive resort with a pre-booked airport transfer.

Next worry was how to get home from Edinburgh. So glad that this Get Cash facility exists... even more so that it didn't even involve a phone call - instead allowing me to retrieve a code through my RBS app to enter at ATM to withdraw money without my card.

Glad we live in these times.

Lesson still learned. Don't rely on plastic while abroad, folks.
