Bothwell Castle

Hubbie, Ethan and I were up early this morning to go to Armadale for Ethan and I to take part in a 2k fun run. We met up with his wee pal Anna and her parents who were also running. Also a lady who is in the same Facebook running group as me who was running it with her daughter - nice to meet them face to face properly for the first time. Ethan did really well, only stopping for sips of water and also for a minute to walk a bit of a hill. He was very impressed with the goodies he got afterwards - a medal, t-shirt and goodie bag too.

Off to the Cupcake Café Bar for brunch afterwards, home for a shower, then back out again. This time to Bothwell Castle. Ethan seems to be exploring castles although he's rather nervous going up and down the old spiral staircases. He also loves the fact they all have wee shops selling knights helmets, swords, armour etc and seems to think he'll get something new every time he goes to a castle!
