At Home: Listen carefully.......

Tiger teaches Eva to catch a mole.

Moles, despite their quiet shy personalities are actually quite vicious. Eva is learning the hard way. Tiger caught her a live mole. Eva has spent the best part of a hour pressing her nose onto its velvety jacket and leaping away at its loud hiss.

The mole has super sharp claws. Its a terrifying sight. It does a kind of war dance throughout the grass. Its body lurching up through the grass, bearing razor sharp little teeth and huge talons for toes. It waves all three at Eva, who snaps back in fright. She is egged on by veteran mole catcher Tiger.

Soon, the hunt is called to an end . Sam hears the voles screeching from the bathroom. "whats this then?" he says to the cat and the dog. They stare up at him. "your not killing a mole today" Sam expertly gathers up the disgruntled mole and places him over the fence and into a heap of earth. We all look at Sam marching indoors.

I guess thats the end of that then......x
