Sleeping In

The day after Christmas . . . I slept in and allowed myself to wake up very slowly. I ended up spending an additional 20 minutes or so in bed, relishing the fact that I didn't have ANYTHING to do and NOWHERE to be for the rest of the day. My camera happened to be at my bedside so I grabbed it and took a photo - I love the way the light streams in through this loft window in the mornings. I also love the wood cathedral ceilings - it makes me feel like I live in a cabin.

After getting up, R and I went for coffee at Pipes in Cardiff . . . then spent the rest of the day working on my shawl and watching movies. It was wonderful!!
