Christmas is over . . .

. . . so it's time to take down the tree and decorations. It's a little bittersweet. I love the holidays and having decorations up . . . but the tree was starting to die and I was ready to de-clutter my living room and get things cleaned up.

I love these snowflake ornaments. I bought them at Target several years ago when I was trimming one of my first trees as an adult in my own home. I lost most of my childhood ornaments in a apartment fire when I was in college in 2003. I'm slowing rebuilding the collection. These will always have a special place in my heart since they were one of the first ones I bought after the fire.
