Did You Know.......

........ that if you want to stop a saucepan boiling over when cooking rice or pasta, just put a wooden spoon across the saucepan. And it works!!!

Must admit I've been doing this for years, but only recently found out it was a known fact. So there you go.

The last couple of days have been quite cold, with morning temps of about 14c rising to about 22c. Today was made worse by the wind, but at least it was nice in the sun.
