Anvil Cloud over Farmland, Lincoln

This sight greeted me on the way home tonight - beautiful columns of Westerly fed cloud, just waiting to explode into rain or thunder (or possibly both). My money is on more rain...

I'm absolutely shattered tonight; late nights photographing the stars have finally taken their toll. One thing that keeps me going is the amazing response from you, my fellow blippers, whose wonderful compliments have kept me near the top of the Spotlight for yesterday's night shot of the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo.
