Driving in a Winter Wonderland

Headed down from Inverness back to home today. This is the scene on the A9 somewhere between Inverness and Aviemore. I don't think I got much over 30mph at any point on this bit.

One wrong move or touch of the brakes, and you would be off the road.

This one was actually taken by eldest as I was driving. Is that cheating? (I wasn't going to stop!)

A9 was blocked earlier in the day northbound between Sirling and Dunblane.

We made it down, but it was around 4.5 hours instead of the usual 2.5. Stopped at Ballinluig again for roll's 'n sausage. Is that bad?

It was K's birthday today! Happy 21st (again). We got down by 5pm, unloaded, then ordered curry for everyone (apart from those away to Crail), before everyone came round at 8pm.

Finished off by the boy's having an overwhealming victory at Trivial Pursuit with Mozo's new question cards. Some of the questions were quite leftfield!

L went out with his mates sledging at midnight!

It was good to see everyone again, and finally get to lie back in my chair and go to sleep in the study. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz............
