Bossy Blackbird

I hope that the Bank Holiday has been as beautiful with you as it has been here (for those of you in the UK that is!) Nature is well and truly shifting gear. Spent the day doing bits in the garden - I have an awful habit of buying plants and leaving them in their pots rather than planting them out.

I was aware that the Blackbirds have raised their first brood and are busy feeding the fledglings. Daddy Blackbird made it quite plain that I needed to put out more food and kept returning all of the time I was outside, making his presence known by his alarm call, then serenading me from the TV aerial.
