Unfolding

Our home is surrounded by a small orchard, this is my favourite time of year when the trees are in blossom. The apple blossom is especially beautiful as it unfolds it's pink buds, the creamy white petals exquisitely pink veined.
We had our monthly workday today, we roofed a shed with corrugated iron, raked and pulled loose roots from a paddock in preparation for reseeding, rescued an apple tree from a fallen Holly that came down in a recent storm and cleared brash from an old fence in preparation for some new fencing, amazing what you can achieve with plenty of capable hands.
A mighty feast was enjoyed by us all at the end of the day.
