Blue is the Colour

I'm really enjoying Bee watching at the moment and we definitely have a few different species of Bumble bee in the garden. This Common Carder Bee, (hopefully my identification is correct), flew from the blue flowers of the Lithospermum to this perennial Cornflower, where it appeared to be feeding very intensely! Blue is a undoubtedly a very attractive colour for the bees.
