Stitchery

Beautifully exhibited by J3+ who are a group of artists who like to share their enthusiasm and love of stiching. Their theme was 'Down the Saxon Road' inspired by the Saxon Hoarde and included textiles and mixed media pieces which reflected their diverse approach to the subject and their eclectic tastes. This was one of my favourite pieces The Weaving Loom; woven and printed on felt and silk with machine and hand stich, and beads

A peaceful and much needed half hour spent for lunch in our lovely Festival Centre and browse round the current exhibition there which helped to calm me during another day of work with more electricians, their constant use of hammer drills and crashing computers.
