A little bit of Lego

This was the result of my schools staff meeting tonight! Due to a change in the curriculum we now have to teach computing even at infant level, including algorithms. So we invested in Lego We Do and the chn have to follow the program instructions to build the Lego model which is plugged into the computer via USB. Then once it's made you have to program the computer to make it do stuff. I made a bird then made it flap it's wings and make sounds! To was nice to be in the shoes of a child and to play - the only way to learn. This was the highlight of my day and now off to my 'cave' to do work on my dissertation!
