Butterfly dog

Another one of these days when Mayar amazed us. Although she is fine now with other dogs when off lead she tends to stress when on lead and will often bark and growl at other dogs she doesn't know,. Today we were helping out at another geocaching event at Beecraigs Park near Linlithgow. There were at least a dozen other dogs there who she has never met before. Big ones, small ones, jumpy ones, barky ones and even a growly one and there was no negative reaction from Mayar at all. She wanted to play with them all! So proud of our girl :)
Later on as we were starting to tidy things away we double clipped her lead so she wouldn't trip up and let her wander round the area we were in which was something we wouldn't. even have dreamed of doing at the end of last year.
When we first got Mayar we always wondered what life was going to be like with her. She was so scared of most other dogs that she would suddenly turn into an aggresive monster . She could not be off lead at all and we honestly didn't think she would ever be what we would class as a 'normal' dog so today it was amazing to see not only a normal dog but a very well behaved, under total control of herself one :)
