Neigh’bour

Up and out for 7:30 to drive to my mum and dads which is about 35 miles south and should take 55mins or so not the 2hrs and 8mins that it did! Mums approiment was at 9:45 we were 12mins late which really didn’t matter as the consultant was 60mins late. Mums procedure took all of 15 mins and we were enjoying a costa coffee before you could say ‘traffic jams’.
Popped over to see my eldest niece and my great nephew en route home and spent a lovely hour chatting and catching up. Em, my youngest niece who I met up with on Saturday had a bad night and ended up in A&E, long and short of it the poor mite has a perforated ear drum!! She must be in so much pain…no idea how this has happened poor thing and not what she needs a week before her final exams.

I was looking forward to ‘star fishing’ again tonight but those plans have been scuppered! Chris has decided to drive home…I’m delighted really that he has, I just want him to drive carefully as he left the house at 5am this morning and the time he gets home will be about 9pm tonight so a very very long day for him.
Anyway, back to my Neigh’bour, isn’t he rather lovely? I often pass him on my morning runs but tonight I thought I would go and say hello after posting some letters (a rare thing to do!).
Tomorrow I am off to the BT Tower for afternoon tea! Really looking forward to it, I hope they allow my camera in.
