Plegadis chihi
#70 - BlipBigYear 2014
Two White-faced Ibises Ibi have recently been gracing us with their presence out in the pasturelands. This species is common in other parts of California, but rare in our area--we only get a few individuals each year. It strongly resembles the Glossy Ibis of the east, with the exception of having red eyes and, as you might imagine, a white-kissed face.
