Ladies Who Lunch

This is Sally, an American friend I have kept in touch with over the years since we first met in Key West, Florida.
She is a poet and writer living by the sea in Maine, who spends many summers cruising round and visiting the Scottish Islands.
On Friday she is sailing from Leith on a National Trust Cruise to Orkney, Shetland, the Faroes and St Kilda.

As well as being an established poet and writer, she has a great sense of adventure which coupled with an enquiring mind made for an interesting lunch date in the local Malaysian Restaurant.

We hope to meet up again next year when she intends to come back for a return visit to the Hebrides.
