Walk to Craster

It's been our turn to go off for a walk on our own, so today we chose to walk to Craster and back, about 9 to 9.5 miles, mainly along the beach, and the dune path. It's been a little overcast all day with spots of rain and strongish winds, but at least the main rain didn't start until we got home. We had another good lunch in the fish restaurant (attached to the smokery), which is one of the older buildings with the red roofs. My brother and sister took mum to Bamburgh for lunch and then for a walk along the beach, which amazingly was wind free. I don't think we've ever known that!
