It's a puzzle!
I was helping was put up the display boards at the office today to check that they are okay for our conference next week. It was bit of a puzzle, finding out where the various bits go, and I thought we'd finished when I found these two poles.
I couldn't believe it, how frustrating, so I sat down for a minute to catch my breath. Next thing I heard was Murph look at me, smile, say cheese. Cheese, what cheese that's not very fair on a dog that loves the stuff, but isn’t allowed any. So it was back to the drawing board and the puzzle of the extra poles-where do they go?
It was a good day though, very productive, and not all work and no play. I did manage to squeeze in a walk at lunchtime to stretch my legs and get some fresh air.
Back at the office it was phone calls, photocopying, printing, planning -phew! I was chatting with the team about what still needs to be done and guess what? I can only say I’m glad I’m off tomorrow, I need a bit of a break. So I'm off home now to have a bit of R&R and maybe a treat or two.
“Not every puzzle is intended to be solved. Some are in place to test your limits. Others are, in fact, not puzzles at all...”
Vera Nazarian,
Murph signing off for this week!
