It's the longest in the world, apparently.
I can believe it.
Mostly up hill - ramps and steps, but we both managed to climb to the sanctuary at the top.
A bit disappointed that there was no beer or even water at the top ( It's run by nuns and monks ), we had to wait until our return to the city below before quenching our thirsts.
But, we did it! ( and got to the top )
And we are now very happy to be having an early night.
We are heading to an exhibition tomorrow - highlight of which is.... The Girl With The Pearl Earring. It is a real coup for the city, and there is a sense of spectacle around the painting......should be a good day!
