Sunny Hayfield

Sunny Hayfield, only 15 minutes away but a world away weatherwise today.

Nice walk around inspecting the bits of the village that are not real.

The Hare, Pheasant etc. at the Grocers really are props for the BBC Drama The Village partly being filmed in Hayfield. The entry to the pub that's not a real pub (its the back of a Hotel) , the very convincing walls that are cardboard not stone. The Post Office that's not the Post Office - the real one is round the corner. The Draper's that is really a tearoom etc.
