New Lens

WoooHooo, the new lens arrived today!

I made the decision last week and returned the Tamron 18-270, and after much discussion with the customer service rep at B&H Photo, I decided to exchange it for the Tamron 70-300.

As luck would have it, I only had a few minutes to play with it before 'duty' called, but I'm VERY happy with the results of the few shots I grabbed.

I only played with exposure and contrast and cropped for composition on this image. No sharpening applied at all.
