Little brothers!

I don't know! Who would have them? They are pesky annoying creatures, yet we grow up with them so intimately.
It's my little brother's 44 th birthday today. We live in different countries and are basically polite strangers to each other after so many years.
I sometimes feel sad when I consider the 'if onlys' and the 'what ifs' of a relationship that didn't really gel from our childhoods onwards.
I will do all that is my power to avoid my kids making the same mistakes.
