People watching

It's amazing what the camera finds which the eye doesn't! I took quite a few shots of this scene and was fascinated to find a lady appearing in many of the images. She moved from one person to another and stopped for a chat as if it was some form of friendly, smiling, listening ministry. My decision was to leave her identity hidden so opted for this image instead.

The seating round Roland Emmett's 'Aqua Horological Tintinnabulator' is often full, it's a common meeting place. 'See you at the clock'. It has fantastical creatures that whirl round on the hour and chimes that make everyone stop. Many stopped as the clock struck noon but then we stood there disappointed - silence!

I think Emmett also designed the car of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang fame.

Pleasant day doing a bit of shopping while avoiding the crowds going mad at the sales.
