Not a Marigold

Marigold??? Where would you get one of those this time of year?
Here's a very orangey poppyish flower...strictly speaking I suppose it is a weed, seems unkind as it is lovely. ..even whilst rain sodden and bedraggled.

Elise was meant to be having a sausage sizzle in the park with Brownies...not a chance...chucking it down sadly.

Where are the two nice weeks in May got to? Without fail we have 2 nice weeks..I call it Summer One. I have my own season system...maybe try to explain it sometime :-)
