Spider Solitaire

Ever since the day I first got Windows XP The Mother has loved Spider Solitaire. Ever time I leave the laptop unattended for a moment she is playing! She used to play it at the advanced level with four packs of cards, but I notice now she's back to intermediate.

This has been a special couple of days. Younger Daughter wanted Grannie to be able to manage a visit to Edinburgh to see her and her partner in their new flat. The problem is that Grannie is 82 and has a poor heart: Daughter lives in a 3rd floor flat.

All went well. We came yesterday and she managed the stairs gently. She stayed in the flat until the time came to go home today, happy that she had made the journey and seen them settled in.

That's it, Christmas celebrations over, a great time had with the Daughters who have pampered me! Roll on New year's Eve to party again!
